Communication with Authorities
The River Safety Council has endeavored to inform and advise decision-making entities about the dangers to the public of construction in rivers. Below is some of the correspondence and some of the replies.
Middle Fork Shoqualmie Mason Thorsen
Many old and dangerous publicly constructed projects remain on our rivers. This is the Mason-Thorson project on the Middle Fork, Snoqualmie River in eastern King County. The current can push river users into the logs.
